J. N. Hups
J.N. Hups was born Cheryl Joanne Miller in Denver, Colorado, on November 10, 1955. At the age of six weeks she was adopted and had her name changed to Jill N. Gardner. In 1978 she married and her name changed again, this time to Jill N. Hups.
Growing up, Jill never dreamt of being a writer. However, all of that changed in the fall of 2002 when she wrote a poetic story for her children that, many years later, blossomed into a young adult speculative fiction series called Spector. During this time of discovering the writing world, Jill became involved with American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW). She served on the board of their local North Denver chapter from 2006 through 2014.
Jill and her husband, Kevin, reside in Westminster, Colorado, a northwest suburb of Denver. They have four wonderful adult children and four beautiful grandchildren. Since stepping down from her local ACFW board, Jill has dedicated her time to writing and rehoning her art skills.
